This medication is a hormone used for emergency birth control within 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse.

Dosage/Directions for use

Adults: 2 tablets as a single dose. Contact your health care provider if you vomit within 2 hours of taking the medication.


Do not take this medication if you are pregnant or suspect that you may be pregnant from a previous act of intercourse, if you have undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, or if you are allergic to this medication. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Option 2 if you have an existing liver condition, high blood pressure, diabetes, or breast cancer. Also speak to your health care provider if you are currently breast-feeding. This medication can cause nausea, vomiting, and irregular menstrual bleeding. This medication is not meant to replace regular oral contraceptives and does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. Option 2 may interact with other medications. If you are taking any other medications, ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking Option 2. Keep this medication out of the reach of children.


Each tablet contains: levonorgestrel 0.75 mg, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, corn starch, lactose monohydrate, and povidone.


Store this product at room temperature.
